DESCRIPTION:Join the fun as the Cultural Center of Cape Cod hosts its 17th annual Run/Walk for the Arts. The whole family can be a part of this event in the scenic Bass River village of S. Yarmouth. Choose between the 5K competitive run\, 5K non-competitive walk. Walkers begin at 9am.\, runners begin at 9:30am. This run / walk has unbeatable scenery and a flat\, manageable course that begins and ends at the Cultural Center\, 307 Old Main Street. Registration in advance is $20 at www.active.com or by mailing in or dropping off a form available on our web site. The first 100 pre-registered participants will receive a commemorative Run/Walk for the Arts t-shirt. Registration the day of the event is $25. Group registration: register your walking or running team of 4 or more for $17 each (must be group registration). We encourage team "uniforms" (t-shirts\, tank tops\, bandanas\, etc to show your team spirit)! Teams must be registered by May 1 and will be guaranteed a race t-shirt for each participant registered by May 1. Raise $50 or more in pledges and your registration is free. Raise the most funds and win a special prize. We hope you'll join us! This year's event benefits our youth programs.
