SUMMARY:Annual Yarmouth Rotary Charity Golf Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Rotary Club of Yarmouth 34th Annual Charity Golf Tournament.  This event is the club's largest charity fundraiser. \n\n	Started in 1990\, the tournament raised $2\,000 in its first year and gave four scholarships to DY High School students.\n	Now in its 34th year\, this annual event has raised approximately $650\,000 in scholarship funds benefiting more than 600 students from DY Regional High School\, Cape Cod Regional Technical High School\, Sturgis and John Paul HS\n	Three awards are named in memory of former Yarmouth Rotarians\, Paul Sullivan\, Larry Putnam and Ken Jenks\n\n\n\nIn addition to our Scholarhip Fund - Proceeds from this charity tournament also support:\n\n	The Yarmouth Food Pantry\n	Brite Lights of Cape Cod\n	Our Annual Christmas party for needy children and their families\n	Weekly support of the Meals on Wheels program\n	Local financial requests for assistance through our Good Works Committee\n	Our Vacation Book Club - We provide books four to five times each year to all Dennis Yarmouth Students in grades K-3. This amounts to 960 books each distribution. A total of 4\,800 books each year.
