DESCRIPTION:Cape Community Orchestra presents its fall concert: "Sounds Familiar"\, Music You've Heard Before\, But Where?" The concert will feature the William Tell Overture by Giacomo Rossini\, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy by Peter Tchaikovsky\, George Bizet's Habanera and more. These include melodies that you recognize but may not know were written\, in some cases\, over a century ago. Directed by Nancy Torrente\, the Cape Community Orchestra is an all-volunteer\, full symphony orchestra of more than 45 members from across the Cape. The concert will also be presented Saturday\, November 23rd at the Monomoy Regional High School. Concerts are free with donations accepted.
