DESCRIPTION:Presented by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod on Saturday\, April 13 from 10am-4pm. Elizabeth Whyte Schulze is a fiber artist working in coiled basketry sculpture who has recently returned from a trip to Cote d' Ivoire\, Africa. In this workshop students will learn about her travels through books\, photos and her recently completed sculptures. Students will coil a small basket using raffia and paper cording. Each basket will incorporate small designs inspired by the arts of Africa.
