DESCRIPTION:The Yarmouth Port Library Presents Garden Soil Preparation and Amending Or Dirt 101 With Patrice Amos   Master Gardener Friday\, April 10th\, 1:00 PM Cape Cod is a very challenging place to garden\, particularly for new gardeners or people who have moved here from other parts of the country. Composting and soil amending is a key step in reaching your gardening goals whether it be growing beautiful flowers\, shrubs or vegetables. Patrice Amos is a Master Gardener with Master Gardeners' Association of Cape Cod with a lifetime interest in gardening. She first started a garden club back in 1996 and took the Master Gardeners course in 1998. During the summer she works 3 days a week at Hart Farm in Dennisport which she describes as a low-key job after a high-tech career. Space is limited. Please call the library at 508-362-3717 to reserve your spot. Yarmouth Port Library\, 297 Main St. (Rt 6A)\, Yarmouth Port\, MA 02675 Early arrival is suggested as parking is also limited.
