DESCRIPTION:Giocosa Chamber Music is a collaborative chamber music project. Founded in 2018 by longtime friends\, violinist Heather Goodchild Wade and cellist Elizabeth Schultze\, their chamber music journey began as a string quartet. In 2022\, Giocosa moved to the collaborative format\, which includes a roster of extraordinary guest artists with whom they make a variety of chamber ensembles each season. Their guests come from Manhattan\, Boston\, Providence\, and right here on Cape Cod. Giocosa's mission is to make a meaningful contribution to the vibrant musical community here on the Cape. Their concerts are infused with virtuosity\, integrity\, and relevance for a modern audience. Tonight's performers include Heather Goodchild Wade\, violin\; Jesse Holstein\, violin\; Danielle Farina\, viola\; and Elizabeth Schiltze\, cello\, with a program including Charles Griffes: 2 Sketches on Indian (Native American) Themes\, George Gershwin: Lullaby for String Quartet\, Jessie Montgomery: Strum\, and Antonin Dvorak: String Quartet #12 (American).
