Bach most likely composed them during the period 1717-1723 when he served as Kapellmeister in Kothon\, Germany. We will take some menu items from The Brauhaus and Leipziger Eck restaurants in Kothen. Today we will start with Linsensalat lentil salad with smoked salmon and root vegetables\, then Senfeir boiled eggs with potatoes\, spinach\, and weisswurst\, schnitzel with poached asparagus caper lemon sauce and finish with Rote Grutze (fruit pudding.) We will make mimosas with sparkling German Riesling. \n\n\n\nThis is a BYOB event so enjoy your favorite German wines or beers.
