DESCRIPTION:Cape Cod-based pianist and lawyer James Rosenblum performs live at the Cultural Center! A multi-talented performer\, James has studied classical piano formally since age six. He is the husband of classical pianist Ana Glig\, who performed here most recently in April 2019\, and the first cousin of jazz pianist Ben Rosenblum\, who has also performed here at the Cultural Center in 2018 and 2019. James is pleased to bring his talents to the Cape Cod audiences. Those in the know will recognize him from last year's Classical Open Mics\, where he was a featured performer playing Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue (and will be a featured performer again there in September 2019)\, and from First Night Chatham 2018\, where he and his wife performed. James is now working on producing his first formal compact disc release\, featuring Rachmaninoff's piano music\, and building a fan base online\, where he publishes videos showcasing new repertoire via his website on Facebook: fb.me/JRPianist. He will perform a selection of beautiful and virtuosic piano solo repertoire\, with dedication to technical and musical mastery. Complimentary refreshments.
