DESCRIPTION:This is the first Banana Bills cancer fundraiser!\n\n\n\nThe event is a volunteer effort by all laser tag participants with 100% of registration fees going directly to fund osteosarcoma cancer research at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Osteosarcoma is a rare form of bone cancer most frequently afflicting children. Dedham resident Sally Naser was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in 2010 at age ten and continues to receive care for her disease\, most recently undergoing surgery in April for metastatic lung lesions.\n\n\n\nSally’s parents\, Camille and Rob Naser\, talked about the family’s experience: “2015 did not start out that great for us. In January\, we learned that Sally had a recurrence and subsequently underwent surgery in April to remove metastatic tumors to her lungs. Beyond surgery\, there is no proven treatment for her condition and survival rates for children with this disease continue to be poor and have not improved in over 30 years – that’s what we are hoping to change.\n\n\n\nRefreshments and a barbeque will be provided.\n\n\n\nBill Lento\, owner of Banana Bills Laser Tag is excited about the event and aiming (no pun intended) for a great turnout. The town of Yarmouth has generous enough to allow us to use their facility. Flax Pond is a beautiful setting that many non-residents don’t know about. Please view the video we created at www.bananabillslasertag.com which we made on location at Flax Pond.\n\n\n\nThe event is open to all ages from 9 and up not just for fathers and sons! The entry fee will be $25/person and all proceeds will go to Dana Farber in their fight against cancer. Start time will be 10AM projected to run until 1-2PM.
