DESCRIPTION:Join us for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception at the Bass River Mercantile\, celebrating 230 years\, on Wednesday\, June 14th at 11:00 AM. YCC will assist with the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:00 AM and then all are welcome to stay for a reception and free hot dogs and Bass River Mercantile sodas! \n\n\n\nStep back in time and enjoy our meticulously restored 1793 building\, where you'll find unique gifts and favorites from the past. Look for our 6'4" pirate- Mean Pete or 4' Salty and outside d cor- you'll know we're open! Our main floor holds collections of unusual treasures of the past\, while our lower level keeps you in the present. Browse our selection of wind chimes\, weather vanes\, ship models\, Mermaid prints\, ornaments\, and statues from 4 ounces to 50 lbs! Old-time candies for the child in everyone\, our own old-fashioned sodas\, including root beer\, homemade jams\, jellies\, and many locally crafted gifts and soaps.
