Owner Marie Younger Blackburn created Marie's Homemade Breads along with #includeme as an initiative for promoting the inclusion of those with different abilities. Marie's Youngest son Chase (18) was born with down syndrome and several other accompanying issues. To teach Chase life skills she has involved her son in different aspects of the business. Chase is the brand ambassador\, delivery man\, and packaging associate.
