DESCRIPTION:There will be an upcoming Morss Colloquium at WHOI on April 28 at 7 p.m. in WHOI's Redfield Auditorium\, 45 Water Street\, Woods Hole\, MA titled "Sonic Seas: Using Sound to Understand and Conserve the Ocean." Seawater is remarkably transparent to sound\, making it one of the most powerful tools in an oceanographer's arsenal.
