DESCRIPTION:"THE FROST IS ON THE PUMPKIN"  . CHRISTMAS FAIR. The West Yarmouth Congregational Church\, "the pumpkin church" at 383 Main St. (Route 28) will present its annual Christmas Fair on Saturday\, December 1\, from 10 to 3 in the sanctuary and throughout the first floor and lower level of the adjoining parish center. Fellowship Hall will feature delicious homemade baked goods tables. Much of the room will contain The Hot Spot with portioned soups\, chili\, and other "comfort food" items for dining in or take out. Additional light luncheon items and beverages will be available. Country Kitchen in the Parish Center will feature jellies\, cheeses\, fudge\, Vermont cheddar cheese\, preserves\, salsas and dips. There will also be gifts of crafted ornaments\, hand knits\, original jewelry\, and original note cards. The Christmas greens room will offer fresh holiday greenery  hostess gift arrangements\, door swags\, decorated white Christmas pumpkin centerpieces and place setters\, and hand-painted oyster shell Christmas tree ornaments. The sanctuary area will feature fine\, gently used clothing in the Repeat Boutique along with a large selection of desirable vintage jewelry. A Silent Auction will include useful items and services as well as gift certificates for many local businesses. Cookie Country will offer choose-your-own Christmas cookie assortments. The church's well stocked and staffed Thrift Shop will be open for its final sale day before a winter break.
