DESCRIPTION:Follow the yellow brick road! In this rare concert presentation\, the Cape Symphony partners with Cotuit Center for the Arts to perform the original lush Harold Arlen score and the script of "The Wizard of Oz." Actors will perform the dialogue and sing the songs from the 1939 movie\, on stage with the orchestra. Our production is inspired by the 1995 television presentation\, "The Wizard of Oz in Concert\," starring singer Jewel as Dorothy\, Jackson Browne as the Scarecrow\, Roger Daltrey as the Tin Man\, and Nathan Lane as the Cowardly Lion.
