DESCRIPTION:Title IX – It’s about more than athletics. Mollie Lam\, American Association of University Women Legal Advocacy Fund (UWLAF) senior manager will present and discuss Title IX issues on college campuses\, including sexual violence among college students. Mollie will present an overview of the 2015 US Department of Education Office of Civil Rights resource and will describe some of the cases that AAUW LAF has supported. AAUW will meet on Tuesday\, November 17th at 12:00 pm at the South Yarmouth United Methodist Church\, 322 Old Main Street\, South Yarmouth next to the South Yarmouth Library. Refreshments are served. The public is invited.\n\n\n\nThis program also will be presented at the Cape Cod Community College on Monday\, November 16th at 3:30 pm in the Tilden Arts Center Lobby and at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy on Tuesday November 17th at 4:00 pm at Blinn Hall.\n\n\n\nMore information is available by calling 508-694-6279.
