DESCRIPTION:Please join Create the Good for our third annual turkey shoot!\n\nCreate the Good works to serve children and families in need with with the Dennis Yarmouth school district. This event will help provide Thanksgiving dinners to those in need this holiday. Open your hearts and help others this holiday season.\n\n\n\n\n\nSuggested items include\, but are not limited to: turkeys\, potatoes\, stuffing\,\n\ncanned or fresh veggies\, cranberry sauce\, gravy pies and rolls.\n\n\n\nQuestions? Contact Stephanie Flynn\, 239-404-3435\n\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THIS EVENT\n\nGolfers will play the full course and the closest to the pin on each of the 18 holes will win a turkey. Entry fees are $40 per golfer ($20 for Blue Rock members) and an optional add-on Skins game will also be available. This event is sold out but the community is encouraged to participate in the food drive.\n\n\n\nIn the true spirit of Thanksgiving\, a food drive to benefit Create the Good will be part of the weekendâ€™s events again this year. Golfers and any members of the community interested in supporting the food drive are encouraged to bring items to the course. Requested items include stuffing\, potatoes\, canned vegetables\, gravy\, cranberry sauce and pies. Additional donations of canned goods and non-perishable goods will be collected 9am â€“ 4pm daily at the Pro Shop through December 20th. All items will be distributed through Create the Good\, a local non-profit started by a group of Yarmouth parents to place a food pantry in every Dennis-Yarmouth school.\n\n\n\nWith the award-winning par 3 course in outstanding condition\, thereâ€™s no better place to be on a fall weekend\, playing golf and supporting the community.\n\n\n\nThe Blue Rock Golf Resort is one of seven Red Jacket Resorts in New England owned and operated by The Davenport Companies of South Yarmouth\, MA.
