About Us

At Caffè Gelato Bertini we create gelato (the Italian version of ice cream) from scratch, one batch at a time, according to the old Florentine recipes of the Bertini family. We apprenticed under sisters Alessandra and Susi Bertini. They learned the art from their father Giuliano, while working at his gelateria in Florence, Italy. Although the recipe is not complicated, the generations elevated the simple process to an art form, as Italians have a tendency to do.

Our gelato is available in three different sized cups: one scoop, two scoop or three scoop, and each scoop may be a different flavor. Gelato shakes are available in any flavor in our display case.
