Effective communication is the most critical of all the skills considered essential for successful leaders. The communication, whether verbal or non-verbal, must be purposeful and can be characterized by the intention. The presentation and discussion will focus on the key components and types of communication that good leaders utilize and explore to maximize communication within your organization and to your stakeholders whether they are inside or outside of your organization.
Leading this discussion is Bob Cody. He has over 25 years of leadership experience in corporate, academic, and non-profit organizations. Throughout his career he has a demonstrated record of leadership, problem-solving, organizational development, maximizing individual contributions, and continuous operational improvement. He currently serves as the CEO of Innoreate (a business consulting firm) and as the Executive Director of Community Leadership Institute of Cape Cod.
