A guided walk of the north section of the former Friends Village in South Yarmouth settled in the 1790s will be held June 3 at 10 a.m. The walk, led by members of the Historical Society of Old Yarmouth, will cover the history of the houses, structures and their owners in the area off Route 28 and Bass River. It will include a walk-through of the 1808 Friends (Quaker) Meetinghouse. Reservations required at www.hsoy.org/events for $15.
