Bird Walk
Gretchen Moran Towers will lead the Historical Society of Old Yarmouth’s spring trail walk and bird tour in Yarmouth Port at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 15. Moran Towers from the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History specializes in leading bird walks throughout the Cape’s natural surroundings. This walk will be 1 ¼ miles through the society’s 50-acre preserve. Participants will be encouraged to identify species and findings will be recorded on her blog. Meet at the Gate House behind the Post Office on Route 6A, Yarmouth Port. The event is free. Bring binoculars. Rain cancels. No reservations necessary. From Susan Vaughn, 508-694-6714
