Danceport: Ribbon Cutting Celebration

Join the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce as we officially welcome Danceport to the community!
 
Located in the heart of Yarmouth Port, Danceport is Cape Cod’s newest destination for dance. Founded by Director and Owner Michelle Poirier-Chwastiak who brings 17 years of international teaching and performance experience to our town, this modern studio is designed for dancers of all ages. After directing the Cape Symphony Dance Company for four years, Michelle opened Danceport in November 2025 to create a space where technique, artistry, and community thrive.
 
The studio features a state-of-the-art sprung marley floor, full-wall mirrors, and professional barres to ensure safe and technical growth for youth, teen, and adult dancers. Come tour the new facility, enjoy light refreshments, and celebrate the growth of our local business community.
 
Special Performance: You’re invited to stay immediately following the ceremony for a brief dance performance. Experience firsthand the artistry and technique that define this beautiful new space.
