Poetry Out Loud Recitation Competition
Poetry Out Loud Recitation Competition Sunday, March 1, 1-3:30pm Intermission with refreshments. Free and open to the public. This will be an outstanding event featuring students from 20 local and off-Cape high schools. The National Endowment for the Arts and the Poetry Foundation have partnered with State Arts Agencies, such as the MA Cultural Council and its partner, the Huntington Theater Company, to support Poetry Out Loud, which encourages the nation's youth to learn about great poetry through memorization and performance.
