Bob Kelley and Judy LeGrand of the Historical Society of Old Yarmouth will guide a tour of the Friends Village North in South Yarmouth at 10:30 a.m. April 24. The village of Quakers was settled by the Kelley family, Bob Kelley’s ancestors, from the early 1790s. They will speak of the history of the houses, structures and their owners in the area north of Route 28 and along the Bass River, including the existing Quaker Meetinghouse and cemetery. The tour will be approximately one and a half hours. Tickets are available online at the historical society website, www.hsoy.org, at $10 for society members, $15 for nonmembers. All age groups welcome. Attendance is limited to 20. Masking and social distancing requirements will be followed. Rain date is 10:30 a.m. April 25.
