The Bruce Abbott/Fred Fried Quartet with vocalist Marcelle Gauvin performs a Salute to Broadway

The Abbott/Fried Quartet, one of the Cape and New England's leading jazz ensembles, has been featured in the Provincetown Jazz Festival. The Quartet will salute the Great White Way with exciting jazz renditions of Broadway’s greatest hits from the opening blockbuster number “Give My Regards to Broadway” to the poignant “I Loves You Porgy” to a surprising treatment of “Surrey With the Fringe on Top” to a lively medley from West Side Story and many more. Vocalist Marcelle Gauvin will act as narrator – giving a bit of history and anecdote about each song.  With Bruce Abbott on saxophone and flute, Fred Fried on 8-string guitar, Miki Matsuki on drums/percussion, and Michael Lavoie on bass. $20.
