The Wall That Heals is Coming to Yarmouth, MA!
Cape and Islands Veterans Outreach Center is proud to collaborate with The Wall That Heals Cape and Islands 2026 Committee to host The Wall That Heals this September at Parkers River Landing, Yarmouth. This exhibit is a program of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund and is the only traveling memorial affiliated with The Wall in Washington, D.C..The exhibit honors the more than three million Americans who served in the U.S. Armed Forces in the Vietnam War and bears the names of the 58,281 service members who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Event Schedule:
Tuesday, Sept 15: Escort Procession (Details coming soon).
Wednesday, Sept 16: Exhibit Setup & Sunset Taps—The Wall opens once the build is complete.
Thursday, Sept 17: Opening Ceremony at 10:00 AM & Sunset Taps.
Friday, Sept 18: Agent Orange Awareness Ceremony at Sunset.
Saturday, Sept 19: Guided Tours & Sunset Taps.
Sunday, Sept 20: Closing Ceremony at 2:00 PM—Exhibit closes at 1:45 PM for dismantling.
Location: Parkers River Landing, 669 Route 28, Yarmouth, MA 02664.
Hours: Once the Wall is completed on Wednesday, the exhibit is available 24 hours a day through Sunday afternoon.
Admission: Free and open to the public.
How You Can Participate:

Features of the Exhibit
Three-Quarter Scale Replica: A 375-foot long memorial allows for a reflective experience similar to visiting Washington, D.C..
Mobile Education Center: Featuring Hometown Heroes (local service members on The Wall) and digital displays of the In Memory Honor Roll.
