Cape Symphony Presents: The Robbie Pate Quartet
Jazz vocalist. Pianist. Entertainer. Get ready for a fun-filled night of jazz as Robbie Pate and his band take the stage. Robert Pate is a vocalist and pianist from Baltimore Maryland, and currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts. Robert has performed at several venues throughout the Boston and Baltimore area such as The Beat Brasserie, The LilyPad, MFA in Boston, and the Museum of African American History. Most notably, Robbie spent the winter of 2018 touring with the Alexey Podymkin Quartet and has graced the stages of The Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall with the BSO Pops Orchestra, and Fenway Park with the ZAC BROWN BAND and at the Beat Brasserie for a Prince Tribute concert. Robbie currently performs with a variety of groups such as: The Robbie Pate Trio, The Matt Savage Groove Experiment, The Lost Collective, Green Line X-Tension. He has studied at the Baltimore School for the Arts with Kelli Young and Joyce Hubbard, and continued his studies at Berklee College of Music and New England Conservatory with Aubrey Johnson, Bradford Gleim, Dominique Eade, Bert Seager and Ran Blake.
