Passport to Hungary Cape Symphony Concert
For centuries, Hungary has been a powerful inspiration for composers of all nationalities whose imaginations were captured by the country’s romantic beauty and colorful folk music. Featuring world-renowned Romani violinist Roby Lakatos and The Roby Lakatos Ensemble, this symphony of rich melodies and cultural flavor is sure to arouse the most discerning of palates. Kevin Fitzgerald will conduct the Cape Symphony Orchestra for an impressive program of inspired Hungarian music. Our program includes works by Zoltán Kodály, Franz Liszt, Béla Bartók, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Darius Blasband, Vittorio Monti and others. Join us for this exciting musical odyssey!
