Bring Knit On! Kids Knitting, with Kirsten West
This class for kids ages 8-12 is meant to get them started. They’ll be amazed at how easy it is to learn how to cast on the Scandinavian way and become familiar with various stitches, ribs, and basic techniques as they make basic shapes like a baby/doll blanket, a lap throw, or a hand towel. They’ll also learn to read patterns, which fibers are suitable for hand knitting, and how to care for hand-knitted items.
