The Yarmouth Port Library Presents Garden Soil Preparation and Amending Or Dirt 101 With Patrice Amos – Master Gardener Friday, April 10th, 1:00 PM Cape Cod is a very challenging place to garden, particularly for new gardeners or people who have moved here from other parts of the country. Composting and soil amending is a key step in reaching your gardening goals whether it be growing beautiful flowers, shrubs or vegetables. Patrice Amos is a Master Gardener with Master Gardeners’ Association of Cape Cod with a lifetime interest in gardening. She first started a garden club back in 1996 and took the Master Gardeners course in 1998. During the summer she works 3 days a week at Hart Farm in Dennisport which she describes as a low-key job after a high-tech career. Space is limited.
