Hydrangea Festival Gardens in Yarmouth Port & Cummaquid
A summer garden celebration is in the works all around Cape Cod and on Saturday, July 17th from 10:00 am to 4:00pm, 4 very special gardens in Yarmouth Port and Cummaquid will be open for touring. The proceeds from these garden tours will benefit the Yarmouth Port Library. Admission is $5 per garden, paid at each garden by cash or check. All tours are rain or shine. Rambling Rabbit, 447 Route 6A, Yarmouth Port (6A & West Yarmouth Rd). A petite .5 acre quintessential cottage garden with a vast array of cutting flowers, English roses, berries, herbs and vegetables. Both a formal and free flowing beauty! Singing Marshes, 70 Alms House Road, Yarmouth Port. An interesting garden bordering conservation land and overlooks Barnstable Harbor and the Lighthouse at Sandy Neck. A very special place! Condon Garden, 181 Thacher Shore Rd, Yarmouth Port. As former commercial hydrangea propagators and growers for over 40 years, these owners have 300+ hydrangeas in the ground plus addition container specimens. Their gardens also include a wide range of vegetables and fruit. Laliberte Garden, 4084 Main St, Cummaquid (Rte 6A & Bone Hill Rd). This garden features a host of blooming trees, perennials, shrubs, bulb flowers, annuals and more!
