Nipmuc-Wampanoag Marcus Hendricks and local historian Todd Kelley will lead a one-mile Native American walk along the Thacher Trail of the Historical Society of Old Yarmouth in Yarmouth Port on July 17 from 9 to 11 a.m. They will discuss the Native American life from Woodland Period through 200 years after the European settlers arrived. The walk will end at the turtle wetu. A second walk will be held on Aug. 7 at 9 a.m. Tickets are available in advance only at www.hsoy.org, at $15.
