Yarmouth Indian Reservation Walk
Yarmouth residents in 1713 laid out a 160-acre reservation for the indigenous peoples of Yarmouth to live upon for 65 years. Join Wampanoag/Nipmuc Marcus Hendricks and historian Bob Kelley on walks scheduled for Oct. 23, Nov. 5 and 19 at 10 a.m. around the boundaries of this one-time reservation in South Yarmouth and learn more about those who once lived there. These walks will take about two hours. Attendance is limited to 25 people, open to all age groups. Cost is $15 and $10 for Historical Society of Old Yarmouth members.
