The Bruce Abbott/Fred Fried Quartet, one of the Cape and New England's leading jazz ensembles, has been featured in the Provincetown Jazz Festival. The Quartet will salute the holidays with exciting jazz renditions of the season's most beloved songs from the opening scene-setting number "Walking in a Winter Wonderland", to the poignant "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas", to a stirring rendition of "Little Drummer Boy", and many more. The wonderful Marcelle Gauvin will act as narrator, giving a tidbit of history and anecdote about each song leading up to the blockbuster grand finale of "Sleigh Ride". Featuring Bruce Abbott on saxophone and flute, Fred Fried on guitar, Miki Matsuki on drums and percussion, Michael Lavoie on bass, and Marcelle Gauvin on vocals.
